Gifted children/students are a heterogenous group with various giftedness and talents. They have their unique characteristics, and need different support from school, teachers and parents to meet their special education needs and development. To help in-service student guidance teachers and discipline masters/mistresses better understand the characteristics of gifted children/students, Ms. Jenny LIU (Vice-chairlady of the Board of Directors) and Dr. Lai Kwan CHAN (Founder of the Foundation) had an online sharing with teachers via Zoom on April 22 & May 6, 2020 in times of the global pandemic. The teachers also had fruitful discussions and reflections on how to provide necessary guidance and counseling support for gifted children/students in schools.
